How to Order Custom Cannabis Packaging: A Checklist

Ordering compliant, branded cannabis packaging has a few more moving parts than ordinary packaging, but the process is straightforward once you know the steps.

1. Choose the format

2. Confirm your market’s requirements

Before design, nail down your state’s rules: child-resistance, opacity, required symbols and warnings, and content fields. This shapes the whole package.

3. Send artwork and copy

Vector files are ideal; no print-ready art is fine — send a logo and we’ll build it. Provide the required regulatory copy for your market, or the details we need to lay it out.

4. Review the mockup

We return a photo-real mockup showing branding and compliance copy together, usually within one business day. Revise free until it’s right.

5. Approve and produce

Approve, and production runs about two to three weeks (boxes slightly longer). We keep your files for fast, matching reorders.
